Microblogging with Plurk
I know that there has been some comparison between Twitter and Plurk. But right now, I’m going to discuss more all about Plurk, since I’ve been using it and I can say that I really got hooked with them.
First of all, I’d like to introduce Plurk as a noun, by defintion and according to their about page: A really snazzy site that allows you to showcase the events that make up your life in deliciously digestible chunks. Low in fat, 5 calories per serving, yet chock full of goodness. How about introducing it as a verb. Again, by definition: To chronicle the events of your always on, action-packed, storybook, semi-charmed kinda life.

Alright, by my own definition. Plurk is a micro-blogging service wherein I would be able to update my timeline whenever, wherever I wanted to. Likewise, I may also discuss related issues nor ask queries within my circle of friends or even the whole world – that is, if they would be able to understand my norm or language. However, just register at Plurk and don’t forget to add me up as a contact – Plurk: Kenneth Mendoza.

Plurk is fun. Plurk is awesome. The only thing that turns me off is that plurk makes me counter productive. I still have to close the plurk tab from my browser just to have myself focused in whatever im doing.
Haha. BTW, I feel that microblogs kill blogs.
