Seven Law Schools to be closed?

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) already made their move against seven schools which has a zero-percent passing rate in the bar examinations in the past 10 years. The schools were named accordingly by the CHED Chairman Emmanuel Angeles, namely, East Central Colleges, Eastern Samar State University, Polytechnic College of La Union, Samar College, Ramon Magsaysay Technological University, Southern Bicol College and Abra Valley College.

However, there are also some state universities and colleges who voluntarily closed their law programs. And they are also listed as follows: Virgen De Los Remedios College, International Harvardian University, Manuel A. Roxas Educational Institution and Zamboanga A.E. College. With this issue arising on the guts of The Commission on Higher Education, they would be sending out official reprimands or notes to those law schools that registers nor registered a low percetile rank of 5% to remind them of regaining their rankings.
