Jehzlau announced on his personal blog that he would be giving out a free domain to the last person who could comment on his web blog on the 24th of June during 11:59PM (following the Wordpress time on his blog) wherein it would be June 25, 8:00AM on the current time - Here’s a block quoted post from his Blog Break: 7-Day Tour in Bohol:

Btw, I’ll be having a short contest. The last human being (robots are automatically disqualified) to leave a comment in this post after 7 days (June 24 @ 11:59 PM) will receive a free .COM domain! Yep! It’s 100% free! If you’re the last to comment. Hehehe. So check this page every now and then before 11:59 PM of June 24, 2008 to get your free domain!!! The time will be based in our lovely WP time. You can check the time after posting your comment, it’s just under your name.(Nagpakulo pa no? Hehehe…)

Here’s a screenshot of the comments parts during the last minutes: (Click the thumbnail image for a larger scale.)

Ubuntu ShipIt

by Kenneth | May 30, 2008 | In Linux Ubuntu | No Comments

People might wonder where do I get free Linux distro’s like Ubuntu? Canonical Ltd. powers up a service called Ubuntu ShipIt wherein people could request a number of CD’s as many times as a person likes it. And us those installer’s on as many computers as they wish.

Well, I’ve been thinking to request another set of CD’s to share it with other people whom I know that might be interested in learning and opting to use open-source programs like the said operating system.

I requested a CD from Ubuntu ShipIt last April 18 and the time has come, as well as the package of Ubuntu CD (v.8.0.4) with sticker has just arrived a while ago.

Linux Ubuntu 8.0.4 CDs

Well, so much more. I’ll be making more updates soon. ;-)
